Dr Emmanuel Coumbis BDSc

Emmanuel Coumbis graduated as a dental surgeon from the University of Queensland Bachelor of Dental Science in 1985.
His early experiences were in North Queensland where he was responsible for the functioning of School Dental Services in Townsville, Ayr, and Charters Towers.

In 1994, he transferred to the Caloundra Dental Hospital where he worked for 2 years. It was during this time when he realised the best way to treat all his patients was exactly as he treated the children in North Queensland

In 1996, Emmanuel decided he wanted more control of his own experiences within the dental industry, as he now had a young family. As a result, he embarked on a career in private general dental practice.

This enabled him to not only practice his above philosophy to his own high standards, but to also provide these services in such a manner as to satisfy his own patient’s expectations and requirements such as after hours availability. This has given him the balance in life needed to maintain his passion for his work and family.

Outside of dentistry, Emmanuel loves gardening, sport, theatre and spending time with his own family.
